We're excited to announce that our certified Sommelier will host a class every Tuesday for beginners interested in learning about wine, those looking to expand their palate, aspiring sommeliers, or wine enthusiasts!
You will learn about the basics, such as the components of wine (alcohol, acid, tannin, body, dryness/sweetness). Additionally, you'll learn about grape growing, including terroir, climate, stages of grape growth (bud break, fruit set, etc.), and the importance of soil types and the age of vines. You'll also learn about how wine is made, including the difference between red and white wine, dry red wine, dry white wine, sparkling wine, sweet wine, and oak aging.
